The most important feature of Yazd (an ancient city in Iran) architecture is arch and dome roofs. Yazdi arches and ceilings are one of the masterpieces of Iranian archi- tecture that dazzle the eyes of every viewer. These roofs date back to the Sassanid era and the construction of these roofs has continued until the Islamic period. The roofs that can be seen in the architecture of Yazd houses largely reflect the financial situ- ation of the owner of the house, roofs with higher payment And beautiful engravings show the financial well-being of the residents of the house.
